This area of taiga forests occupies the southwestern corner of the Northwest Territories with a finger extending to the northwest along the Mackenzie river to the area of Fort Good Hope. Further to the south it covers the most northeasterly corner of British Columbia and the most northwestern corner of Alberta, including part of Wood Buffalo National Park. A rather insignificant tiny bit of the ecoregion extends into the southeastern corner of the Yukon Territory.<\/p>\n
