Piney Woods Forests (NA0523)

This compact blocky ecoregion extends from the Ozark Plateau southward to the coastal plain of the Gulf of New Mexico. It occurs in southwestern Arkansas, extreme southeastern Oklahoma, Louisiana west of the Mississippi forests, and Texas north of Houston.
