Wyoming Basin Shrub Steppe (NA1313)

The Wyoming Basin of this eponymous ecoregion is centered in western Wyoming, excluding higher altitude mountain ranges.  Small slivers extend into adjacent states: Montana south of Billings,southeastern Idaho, northwestern Utah, and northern Colorado.
