This high altitude tundra ecoregion is almost entirely restricted to Alaska, occupying an arc above Anchorage in the Alaska Range. It covers a small strip of southwestern Yukon in Kluane National Park and extends as a tiny finger into the northwestern extremity of British Columbia.
